Illinois Paid Leave Coalition
NW NOW is a member of the Illinois Paid Leave Coalition. Too many workers can't afford to take time off to handle their own serious illness, that of a family member, or to care for a new child.  Kids and families suffer when they don't get the medical care and attention they need.  Business productivity suffers too.

MEDIA REFORM
Please keep an eye out on your local papers (Daily Herald, Pioneer Press etc.) to get a sense of how they cover women's issues. We will be setting up meetings with reporters and editors this year. And please write letters to the editor!
